Panther Settings & Configuration Revamp

Your platform, configured your way

We’ve delivered one of the biggest backend usability and administration upgrades ever released within Panther - a complete overhaul of the Settings and Configuration experience designed to give users more clarity, more control and far greater visibility across the platform.

The entire configuration area has been reorganised into dedicated, logical sections including Global, Booking, Availability, Timesheet, Compliance, Candidate, Client, Contact, Rates, Financial, Communication, Candidate App, Integration and Vendor & Supplier Configuration. A brand-new “All Settings” landing page and redesigned sidebar navigation now make it dramatically faster and easier to find, understand and manage system settings.

This release has focused heavily on usability, transparency and scalability. Configuration options have been carefully reviewed, renamed, regrouped and cleaned up across the platform, helping administrators fully understand what every setting controls and how features interact with one another. Detailed tooltips are now consistently available throughout the system, giving users instant visibility and guidance directly within the interface.

The overall experience has also been modernised with cleaner layouts, updated icons, improved spacing, condensed navigation, floating Save/Cancel controls, active menu states and more responsive behaviour throughout the backend. Save and Cancel actions now only appear when changes are detected, creating a cleaner and more intuitive workflow when managing large configuration changes.

Behind the scenes, configuration handling has been heavily standardised and centralised to create a much more scalable foundation for future Panther development. Legacy configuration pages have been consolidated, dependency handling between settings has been significantly improved, terminology overrides have been streamlined, plus auditing and change tracking have been expanded to provide greater accountability and visibility across admin activity.
