The October 2026 release introduces new functionality and refinements across the platform, from candidate access controls and ownership management to reporting, record navigation and system configuration.

Each enhancement is designed around the practical demands of temporary recruitment, giving you more ways to tailor Panther to your processes and manage the detail that keeps your business running.

Candidates > Web App access

Candidate app access controls new candidate app access settings allow users to enable or disable access for individual candidates, with clear status indicators, filtering and mass data import & export support for easier access management.

Configuration save confirmation

A new confirmation popup appears when saving configuration changes, prompting users to confirm their updates before they are applied, helping prevent accidental changes to system settings.

Candidate app pay rates & broadcast enhancements

Candidates can now view shift pay rates and breakdowns in the candidate app when enabled, while broadcasts support pay rate details and respect user team permissions for greater control and transparency.

Candidate multiple ownership

Candidates now support multiple ownership, bringing them in line with the client hierarchy. Additional owners, ownership splits, list view columns and filtering provide greater flexibility for managing ownership and reporting.

Report route filtering enhancements

A new "route" filter allows users to generate reports for specific routes, including hours worked, fatigue risk, travel time, no shows and candidate shifts, providing more targeted reporting and analysis.

Record navigation enhancements

Quick-access links on the timesheet module have been extended to location and contract accordions, allowing users to navigate directly to the relevant records for a faster, more seamless experience.

Daily timesheet actuals editing enhancements

A new setting allows client and Panther users to edit actual hours after candidate approval and before client approval, with candidates automatically notified of any changes.

Client debtors balance & credit limit enhancements

Previously managed through integrations, "debtors balance" and "credit limit" can now be edited directly in Panther, with role permissions controlling access for greater flexibility in managing client financial data.

Location records & mass import/export enhancements

Location records and mass data import & export have been extensively enhanced with logical field ordering, expanded data coverage, improved terminology and stronger configuration support.
